It's a Celebration, Enjoy yo Self
School is out, done, finished (like the Lakers). Today was a beast of a final day. After an all night session in the squared circle (till about 2am) I rose for the 8am genetics final. Pack a lunch, that was a bad boy. I emerged from the class about an hour and a half later with a rectum big enough for a beach ball to fit into. Then I headed for Jiffy Lube to prepare for my comm final. After gettin the oil changed i head to the brary for three hours of studying for comm. Me and brad had about a five minute chat and timestamps tell us that it ended at 11:38. Well I put my head down to rest for a minute and when i picked it back up it was 2:15. Brilliant. So I end up gettin about 30 mins of studying and still feel as if I did very well on that final. But onto more important matters.

The Comm final was from 3-6 in the afternoon. I finished in 85 mins, so as I'm walking out at 4:30 i see my boy Dave walkin in, lookin cool as a cucumber. The following discussion takes place:

Me: Dave, homie why you gettin here at 4:30? Shit started at 3:00?
Dave: Yah I know.
Me: So do i need to repeat the question?
Dave: I figure the test is only gonna take me 90 mins.
Me: So why not just show up at 3 and be done like me now...and out of school BEOTCH
Dave: Nah, I do my best work when the clock is tickin down on me. I need to be under the gun.
Me: ::shakes head and walks away::

Flake Show
Lemme just say to all you Laker fans out there, and especially you Brad, well damn done. Great effort, awesome teamwork, good movement on offense. How many times did they show a disgruntled Kobe "not getting the ball." I think 30-40 clips...how bout moving. In ANY of those clips did you see him doing anything other than holding his hand up? No. Bitch move off the ball if you want to be open. Go to the hall of fame and rent the tapes of Reggie, he will teach you shit you cant even imagine off the ball. Hell, watch Rip in the same game as you, he owns the tapes of Reggie.

Anyway, this series is one miracle minute from bein 3-0 Pistons and the world is in shock. Did anyone really think the Pistons had a chance in the series? I didnt. But now that they are controlling every game lemme just use a line i've been holding for about three months (in preparation for the Pacers winning the title).

I aint seen the JV beat up on the Varsity like this since Mighty Ducks 3.

Damn, you people have NO idea how much i enjoy that line. Sometimes I surprise even myself.

Vegas Countdown
In just four more days we head to THE VEGAS as Nathan Wayne Willborn loves to call it. So far it's still just Rasch, Tony and Me...wait, "just," shit who else is there that matters? If Hardcore ends up makin the trip Vegas and the Luxor will definately regret our stay. Believe that.

Interesting sidenote:
The list of flakes (mikey, nate, zack, john) actually outnumbers those attending. How can the rest of you come up with such useless excuses for not coming like summer school and "work" (mikey). Touch is flyin out from BAMA-TIME for the occasion. Nut up and make the trip, stop bein bitches.

World Poker Tour
That would be the second week in a row i've picked the winner of the final table, thank you. Yah I wasnt exactly going out on a limb taking Gordon, but still, the man took down the title. That last hand was fantastic. As soon as the Ace hit Phil was golden.

The most important part though was the hand where Masad raised with AJ suited to 50k, then Phil made it 300,000k right behind him with 99. Moneymaker, on the big blind moves all in with AQ suited. Now Phil claims to have thought Moneymakeer was making a move on him and would have called if Masad didn't. HOWEVER, I have no doubt that Moneymaker actually thought he had the best hand, and wasn't trying to put a move on Phil. Either way he lost the pot and the tournament to Gordon. Good win.

Next week is Cruisin Mexico, buckle up for a final table and a half. Lindgren, Nguyen, Neagreanu and more. Eventhough it's limit it should be exciting to watch. This is the only limit tourney you'll see on the WPT so get it while you can.
